Deck discussion for UW Control - Please comment

This is not a bad deck I feel that there could be bette cards than admonition angel, you do need more counters 8 is not a bad number, but don't use negate because they are specific. Also think about adding a baby jace, you kinda need to speed up your draw.

For your side board you do not need the sword of body and mind or flash freeze if you have counters already.

Great deck so far, :D

I disagree entirely. Flashfreeze (and by extension, Celestial Purge) are very important in a U/W Control deck. Assuming you don't know that your opponent is running G/R Elf Ramp or whatever. After Game 1, you side board in the Flashfreezes, and all of a sudden your counter spells become infinitely faster.

As for what I like, I love the Admonition Angels. Rather than Halimar Depths (I don't personally like the card) I would play Terramorphics. Once you get an Admonition Angel (or two) on the field, the Terramorphic Expanses become insanely powerful. The ability to exile TWO permanents for ONE land is epic.

Frost Titan = Best Titan. Way to go there. :)

Personally, I don't mainboard Negates, as I feel they are too specific. I would run more straight counters, perhaps another Condemn. You may want to check out "Oust." It's a nice Sorcery-speed creature removal that sets up well for a direct counter. And you probably don't need more than three Day of Judgments. I find myself with one or two of them in my hand, and they're just dead cards sometimes.

Looks really good. Keep up the good work! :D

I swapped out the Halimar for Terras, added another condemn in place of the negates, dropped a land (felt I may be flooded especially with the everflowing) and stuck in a few cancels and dropped a day of judgment. Very awesome comments, guys.

Also replaced 2x Condemn with 2x Oust. Great suggestion. I prefer Oust if Sorcery speed is sufficient (cuz 3 life vs double that plus for huge creatures is uber nice). Rounds the deck out a lot more nicely depending on the situation, I think.

The deck looks pretty good there g44r4. I have one more suggestion for you - drop two Seachrome Coasts and put in two more Celestial Colonnades. The Colonnades have saved my life a bunch of times, and help by providing an alternate win condition, which most U/W Control decks need help with.

Other than that, I'd say you have one powerful U/W Control deck. :)
