Whoa.. I tried to make a deck like this a few weeks ago. It's almost the same except I had Nissa Revane and the Nissa's Chosen. It's was a great combo, but I always failed against control decks. Unless you can find a way to boosts Nissa Revane loyality counters up fast, she would be a great asset to the Elf Deck. ( -7; Search your library for any number of Elf creature cards and put them onto the battlefield. Then shuffle your library ) You would literately control the game.
I had her in an earlier version but i found it impossible to get off her -7 before someone died so I dropped her completely. I would love to find a way to get that off in a decent amount of time, though. She is awesome.
Yes, but 2 life for each elf is perfect... I play her only for this ability :D But when you want, you may play some doubling season and proliferate things to pump up her... Here is my elf deck, can you comment it? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=109969

Not bad. Needs Nissa Revane and Chosen deffinately! I put Leyline of Vitality personaly and it helps cause of all the 1/1 elves in there. and you gain life for every creature on the field. Mul Daya channelers would help too. doesnt require that much mana and can swing for 5 at 4th turn. If you decide to put artifacts in your deck, deffinately put Ezuris Brigade.
Interesting take on the deck! What made you decide to put in the Carrion Calls and the Tajuru Preservers in your side board? I don't know if you have any, but Vengevines would be nice in this deck. Also, I'd put some plummets in the sideboard too
Carrion Calls were put in really just to ward off my enemies swinging freely with prized creatures. Nobody wants a dwindled down key creature. Tajuru Preservers are for if I ever face Drazi or other sacrifice mechanics. I have no Vengevines. Good thought. Thanks for the comment!
i love it. put 2 genesis wave. in a elf deck it's fantastic!
Looking for a way to get fast counters on Nissa, if that's the only thing stopping her going in consider Contagion Engine, elf mana's a great way to get it out, and it will also feed Warcaller.
