I created this deck as an upgrade to the Modern Event Deck, after the release of Kahns of Tarkir. The main issues I was having in playing the event deck was getting my opponent low on life, but not being able to seal the deal. That and sweepers. I experimented in Esper tokens, with snapcaster mage to get more resilience, but it became an agro-control deck that really was searching for its identity. Thus I decided with the addition of Mardu charm that burn would be the better option.
