Thrill-Kill AssassinScourgemarkDead Reveler. all of these should actually do well especially the thrill kill assassin. scourgemark doesnt give a huge power increase but the extra card could be the turning point in any game or just get thru those land clumps. deadreveler is just a fatty for 3. this would actually be fun with the amount of intimidate right now in standard to bad mono black is very popular.

giant adephage is awesome because is copies it self so you have a permanent threat on the board by using the whip. besides angel , ashen rider, obzedat ghost council its the best creature to animate. I also like the idea of rakdo's lord of riots in this deck but you whip it for 4 then pay 3 mana for other creatures so you would need 7 mana for that combo which most of your creatures cost.

I would take out the general and either go the spear of heliod, heliod god of the sun, hive stirrings, and a 4th rootbourn defenses. I really like this deck but if heilod and purphoros start combing their abilities its gg.
anger of the gods would be a better choice for this deck then boros charm in my opinion and I would think about using chandra's pyromancer. Stormbrath should be in here but idk what you take out maybe boros reckoner since i think you should run anger over boros charm or maybe even side sin collector and put in stormbreath or even desecration demon. Also I am not a fan of the keyrunes but I am really looking for reasons to commit and give you other ideas but this deck is really good as is. I would go more temples over the guildgates because they are doing the same thing but you scry so your actually losing value by running gates and other then that this deck looks very competitive and erebos is good against other control decks because they can't gain life. commune with the gods is really good for this deck and i would go more removal and cut out a few of the mythic cards. 4 adephage and 3 lord of the voids seem like over kill also hero's downfall hits everythign right now in standard so you should definately run a few of those but this deck is every bit as good as junk reanimator was before rotation and the scary part is it only gets better.
I agree with this commit because desecration demon is better then reaper easily i could see you running both but having 3 mystics or 3 deathrites doesnt seem good. deathrite wont give you mana unless your discarding it which doesn't seem likely. I would go with 2-4 mystic. Also 4 mizziums is to many since your also running anger which does the same for 3 mana. also gaze is coo but your woudl have 8 board clears with all your other removal which is kind of over doing it. YOu won't always vs aggro game 1. thoughtseize and underworld connections are a must. erebos, the god of the dead in your side is really good against other control decks like esper and blue white. Also guildgates are still prety good turn 1 and I dont like lightning strike when you have doom blade, ultimate price and devour flesh available which all are better at removing. Last thought is stormbreath dragon is the win con in this deck much like thundermaw hellkite was before rotation. also xenago's is a weird card in this deck but I like it so I would say try it out.
Maybe this will help you out with some different ideas I really think not having anger of the gods is going to hurt you and counter fluxing a revelations without U/W or esper being able to coutner back is amazing. Counter flux is probably the most underrated card in standard right now. the link I sent was based off a deck I saw go 4-1 in Fnm and won against almost all of its control matchups. I was not able to see the deck as a whole but I did get to see 2 games and this is what I came up with. Its expensive however.

I like the idea of this deck but your missing a few really key cards that make grixis amazing. Anger of the gods is much better then rachet bomb against aggro. Turn // burn is also really important idk if you would main board it but it in your side would help. Also jace, architect of thought is a better card then steam augury because even if you only use him twice and kill him off for 4 you looked at 6 cards not 5 but since your control you can potentially use him much more then twice. This is my version of grixis which is kind of molded around grixis super friends. i have most of everything but its a very expensive deck so im slowly trading for it. PW's are kind of annoying to get a hold of.

So banisher priest is a better option in this deck then chained to the rocks because you need the body. Also cavalry pegasus does a lot of work right now because on so much aggro depending on human creatures and you dont need more than 2-3 of them. Just more of an option with firestriker being so annoying both would be incredible. I also dont see ajani helping you more then the spear of heliod. LIghtning strike is a card that will help you win and clear the field but protection might be of a greater concern to you but I dont know if it would be better then magma jet but that could just be that I love to scry. I really like the deck tho check out my white winnie deck.
Nylea would be great in this deck because all your creatures would gain trample which would make fabled hero a really big threat instead of just getting chump blocked all game. I also don't really like the rootborn defenses because it only feeds off of voice so its extremely conditional in your deck. I would main board the braves the elements over forced adaption other wise your creatures are going to get blasted. Ashiok should be used with memory adept or to be overly powerful. It puts your opponents on a mill time counter and in my experience milling 13 in a turn stops everything I want to be drawing into almost always and I have play tested with merciless eviction and its a sideboard card. Never did much for me otherwise and don't forget about aggro its still viable and you will need blind obedience side boarded and annul is side board material as well. This is a very powerful control deck however and I don't see to many other things changing in the deck. If ashiok doesn't work go another counter or kill spell and 1 jace adept or something like that. Goood luck with this.
THis is my orzohov deck and many of our cards cross over.
In my opinion 4 slaughter games side boarded is to many. with the amount of rakdo's return your running you at most need 2. Also anger of the gods is only good against specific decks so it should be in the sideboard because it does nothing against another midrange deck where chained to the rocks would be rally good against both. i would recommend 2-3 read the bones and add in land over tem because you will probably be looking for land anyways. Also over arrest you should run doom blade or ultimate price and I really like the whip suggestion and think about desecration demon.
bonefire is always nice to have as a board wipe. At least side board. Also slumbering dragon is a pretty good card and I would think about using faithless looting. Also since your maxing out at 6 because Utvara your just hoping to run into late l i would think about going to 24-25 land because of the draw power.
since your running black u do have faithless looting and sign in blood. both are great draw spells. this would require more black land. I think dangerous wager is a bad card in this deck and the 4 chandra doesn't really help you i would consider goigndown to 2. Black destroy spells like murder, doom blade, ultimate price victim in the night would ultimately be better. Also slumbering dragon for a red mana can turn into a dragon really fast against aggro. IMo this deck would be better running a jund mana base.
