Deck Description

A casual mono Black deck that tries to gain card advantage over time while laying in the beats with good old Korlash or a Lashwrithe.

Smallpox and Call to the Netherworld can net you large amounts of card advantage. Ideally you'll use Smallpox mid-game with a Reassembling Skeleton on the field and a useful creature in your graveyard to retrieve (Augur of Skulls or Korlash).
Thanks to Korlash's Grandeur ability you'll never be left wanting for lands.

A large pool of removal effects will keep the board under control while you're putting pressure on your opponent with a Lashwrithed creature or a beefy Korlash.

Soul Stair Expedition and Call of the Netherworld will be able to get your Korlash back from the dead and into your hand.

And don't forget about the Regeneration ability on Augur of Skulls, Duty-Bound Dead and Korlash! Should you find yourself on the defensive it'll keep your precious blockers alive and safe from any form of Destroy effect.

Weaknesses of this deck include Tokens, Exile effects, Graveyard removal and not drawing Korlash.
