Black/White Orzhov I created with my fresh cards from Gatecrash. I tried to make it a bit more aggressive than the usual one, so that the new extort capacity is fully used.Put it Standard compatible now ! It 's pretty competitive when used this way.
So... New cards here. The base mechanics are pretty easy... at least in the beginning. You just want, as quick as possible, two or three extort cards on the table. You can act aggressively by attacking with your flying creatures, but the deck is made so that you actually wait for your opponent to attack.Basically, you keep your mana handy for the opponent's turns, so that you can do some Smite + Extort or Undying Evil + Extort when they launch their attack (bonus points if you do the last one on the High Priest \o/)It's WB, and like in every WB deck, your opponent has no interest to let you gain time. Obzedat is here to make sure that, if the game goes lengthy, you got heavy stuff on the board to make sure you take some life points each turn. Sorin is actually here to be attacked. Well... To be defended actually :) I generally use his second capacity each time I can, so that it put some stress on your opponents.I put some other fun instant cards on the sideboard so you got some ideas to go beyond (actually, any black/white instant can be good, but I try to keep this deck on a standard format). My favorite is still Beckon Apparition : you tease your opponent to attack, just to earn a creature on his turn, while using extort. This can be a dirty surprise if you use this same creature to block a desperate attack.
