Deck Description

I've build a Spirit deck once before... but I didn't have much Spirit cards. Now that I got a Dark Ascension fat pack for Christmas, I got plenty of Spirit cards to work with that actually make the deck feel like a eerie Spirit deck

How to Play

Basically start off by playing Doomed Traveler (for either chump blocker or a free spirit) and get as much of the Captains out as possible. They are pretty much the staple of the deck, giving all your Spirits hexproof... which is very lethal. Use the flashback cards as bait for cards such as Tower Geist. Seance is quite a interesting card too. You can exile a creature card from your graveyard to play a token that's a copy of that creature only its a Spirit in addition to its creature types. Do this to Doomed Traveler to get a hefty Spirit and hopefully before its exiled, you happen to kill it to get your free spirit. Them flashback cards are supposed to be used to confuse the opponent (and it sort of fits the theme of how Spirits can vanish at any given moment) and save your key cards.

Deck discussion for Spirits

Definitely a nice deck! My only suggestion would be to trade out the Pacifisms for a couple more Cyclonic Rifts. I find it frustrates the opponent more when they have to pay for something twice. Also, if you manage to hold onto one until you get out seven mana you can bounce their entire board (and make them discard a lot if it's their turn) and attack with the beefed up spirits. I made a Spirit deck as well, it's called "No Critters for You" and it's on my page. Not as many cool cards but it gets the job done (and really annoys my friends) :)

Another good card for this deck would be geist of saint traft. It is a nice low drop that would get all the buffs from your other creatures as well as give you a 4/4 flying creature to swing with on top of the geist itself. i would personaly replace the one hollow henge spirit in this deck.

see, i would definetly have one of those Saint Trafts, but they are over-the-top expensive. And this is just what I personally what I own, so I don't have any Saint Traft.

Nice one.
I would change the lands though:

4x Cavern of Souls
8x Island
2x Moorland Haunt
6x Plains
1x Rogue's Passage
4x Glacial Fortress

works far better from my point of view, plus your Spirits cannot be countered.

Sure it is a matter of budget, but if you find some money to waste, consider spending it on this :)

I would've definitely consider buying the lands, but the caverns are roughly 25 a piece... that's about 100 dollars just for 4 cards... but its great to have a land that makes your creatures of a specific type uncounterable, but to me, i just go with what I have.
