Deck discussion for Wait for it...

Very interesting idea.
Having to wait until you can cast the Archmage to play all of your free artifacts, nice.
Right off the bat, though, I can tell you that your choices for counterspells sucks.
If I am your opponent, as soon as you cast Archmage I am going to remove it.
If it is your Turn 4, you cast it, guess what, you are out of mana? Right?
So I cast a Lightning Bolt or Murder on him. He dies.
This is where something like Foil or Daze works miracles.

Turn 4. You cast Archmage.
In response I cast Murder.
In response you cast Daze (by using the alternate casting cost of returning one Island to your hand) and save your Archmage.

Same deal with Daze.
Your opponent knows you have counterspells. And he is smart. Knows what he is doing. He will wait until you have tapped all of your mana to play his best card. He plays his best card, and BAM!!, you return an Island to your hand and Daze him.

Good luck.

Mind checking this one out?

No jessie. I am not waiting on the archmage. Im waiting on an entire army with a 20/20, on 4th turn.

What are better counters?

Then the Master card, is what you are waiting for?
Still...as soon as you cast it, it is going to be nuked.

Turn 1-2 you cast free stuff
Turn 3 you cast your 20/20 creature and are out of mana.
Your opponent Murders it.
Good game, your opponent won.

However
Turn 1-2 you cast free stuff
Turn 3 you cast 20/20 and are out of mana.
Your opponent casts Murder but you Daze it.
Good game, you won.

Daze is rated 4.6 out of 5 stars, by the way!!!
That makes it higher ranked than 6 out of 10 counterspells that you have in your deck.

Dismal Failure = 3.6 out of 5 (not even a 4 star counterspell, weak!)
Mana Leak = 4.5 out of 5. Still not as highly ranked as Daze. Close but no cigar.
Negate = 4.2 out of 5. Weaker than Daze.

Only Counterspell in your deck that rivals Daze is Remand.
And Remand is damned expensive and can not even counterspell a card unless you have 2 mana!!
Foil can counter for free. Daze can counter for free. Force of Will can counter for free.
Remand can not.

Daze is the key, friend.

I am right.
Daze is great.
Watch someone's face when you pull it off on them!!!

They see you have no mana, they try to remove your 20/20, and then you pull Daze on them!
Their faces will fall off.
+1
