My deck was born from another deck of mine my red/white speed deck and my want to get into modern because thats what all my friends where playing and my commander decks just couldn't compete with my friend's delver, presence of Gond, and the dreaded G/R land destruction. So in a conversation about modern in the car this deck was born. I'd like to thank my friend Kaden for helping me with this deck so much and I wouldn't mind more help in making and improving it in the comments. So without further ado here is my modern deck.
Basically the main strategy of this deck is get a creature boost it up give it infect and protection and swing for game. This can be accomplished for sure on turn 3 but there are many turn 2 wins too, but these need mana acceleration hence the spirit guides and rituals. My favorite way to when on turn 2 is turn one play a swamp exile a monastery swiftspear cast a tainted strike on it and swing for 3 infect damage. Then turn 2 exile simian spirit guide play a ritual, then with that mana cast brute force tainted strike apostles blessing and swing for game. There are other ways to win but for all its very important to start first. This deck is also best matched with monocolored decks. Well thanks for looking at my deck and hope you enjoyed it

Temur Battle Rage - {1}{R} instant granting doub strike with a chance for trample too, which you should be getting with no problem. The trample part is especially useful as it's another way to get around chump blockers.
