Deck Description

T2 white knights, Use Sun Titan to bring almost everything back from graveyard incase they blow a knight exemplar, use Emeria to bring back sun titan and Hero's. Knight Exemplar makes everything indestructible (save titans) so Day of Judgments most of the time will only wipe their field and a few of your tokens. A Mirran Crusader on turn 3, turn 4 Armored Ascension, turn 5 swinging for 14 in the air prot black/green.

Thoughts? using this in Game Day this weekend unless someone can help me out before then.

Deck discussion for T2 White Knights

in your deck honor of the pure will be strictly better than armored ascension likely.

what about student of warfare??? elixer is not needed, unless you expect mill (which you shouldn't. if you are worried about that try running 1 kozilek side) I would move all divine offerings to side. alot of matches won't be playing any artifacts. you can't let that be a dead draw. try running tectonic edge, in a white deck, it won't mess you up too much, and it will handle the control matchups very well by taking out celestial collonade and creeping tar pit. If you do, i would drop 1 emeria. i wouldn't be playing it because it slows you down, and if control can get you that much into lategame, something has gone horribly wrong and you are probably going to lose anyway.

+4 honor of the pure. -3 armored ascension. +1 Elspeth. -1 Gideon. -2 Sun Titan. +2 Student of Warfare. And in all honesy I would rather have Leonin Skyhunter than Accorders but its your choice.

i don't disagree with his choice of armored ascension. as long as he holds his brave the elements in case of a go for the throat or lightning bolt. this deck doesn't need elspeth. sun titan is actually really good, but i would consider white sun's zenith over it, because it is used at about the same mana, but you can flash it in at the end of turn and swing. it has proven to be very good.

Why not......White Knight?

For a Knight deck, you're awfully light on creatures...

What I would do:

-4 Silence (what is this for?)
-2 Divine Offering (sideboard this instead)
-3 Armored Ascension (meh, too susceptible to removal)
-4 Plains (you'll see why shortly)

+3 White Knight (First Strike + Battle Cry dudes = awesome! pro black is an added bonus)
+3 Leonin Skyhunters (a knight with Flying! at common!)
+3 Student of Warfare (first turn play, dump mana into it later)
+4 Tectonic Edge (EVIL with Sun Titan)

Good call on the Tectonic Edge's, I don't have any and some how that flew under my radar but i'll try to pick some up quick before this saturday's Game Day. I just got my hands on a Student of Warfare (shop was all out and traded a buddy for his only one and am trading with another for his tomorrow) and I changed the sideboard up the rest of the deck to look like it does now (+White Knights -Gideon +Ajani)

Honestly most the time I run this, it turns out that Armored Ascension (as easy it is to removal) has proven to help win the game, especially with either SoW or Mirran Crusader's double strike.

I guess I thought the silences would help give me a little more control as well as act as a white counter of sorts, including locking them out a turn.

The reason I'm running Ajani, is because with as much hate as he gets, he's gotten me out of A LOT of jams. I don't use him for the +2 life too often, more so for his -1. That extra +1/+1 counter and vigilance on top of battle cry is usually pretty insane.

Yeah I only have 22 creatures in a knight deck, I'm not sure how many I should be running (Usually play U control of some kind) but I wanted to try this out for game day. From playtesting so far it seems pretty damn solid, especially after I made some switches that you guys suggested.

What should I drop for the Leonin Skyhunters? I really want to add them but am hesitant to drop the Accorder's, I feel that Battle-cry could certainly help me out in the long run.

imo I'd ditch the ajani's for some skyhunters, he's an ok card but in a knight deck, kinda meh.
