So this deck is a blue and black control that revolves around denying enemies any opportunities and also having some fun with their deck. The deck was formed out of a really generic and terrible mill deck. Now though, its tons of fun to play and fights to the bitter end.
The idea is to deny your enemy having anything on the field with removal. Following successfully doing that, build up some devotion with a specter and maybe a planeswalker then toss Thassa into the mix.As soon as you have thassa on the field, bring in your best homie, the Duskmantle Seer. Now, bam! Every time its your turn, scry anything with a CMC > 2 to the bottom, then lose none life for the land you just drew and sit back and watch your foe burn due to high cost monsters. Now that youve got a sweet set up, start getting a bit "stealy". Use them specters to take stuff, then play it. If you run out of removal, just domesticate instead. Once the wall D'awesomeness is up, boom, steal more stuff with Ashiok. Also Jace.

Is Thrassa in there solely for scrying? I think Sigiled Starfish might serve better, as you can pile the playset of them up and really dig deep late game.

Hmm, i havent really played this deck in a while. Well at least not since Journey arrived. So that is an interesting idea. The main reason for Thassa was to pre-screen the cards for the Duskmantle Seer, of course scryfish can do that too.I would likely take the domestication out at that point also, since it is really there as devotion for thassa.
