thanks for the comment; its really difficult for this theme to get down to a simple 60 deck with 4 of a lot of cards .... I think maybe Im trying to do too much; I like the angel theme (maybe angel and demons?), and life gain and exalted and want to keep it white / black. I want to get a deck I'm really happy with before I get the cards obv. Any ideas on how to achieve this? thanks

I thought of maybe giving all the equipment to single attacker to make them amazing ... I'm going to do quite a bit of re-working to this deck, thanks for the comments
Hi Tremorth, thanks for your comments on my hex this deck; I've added a bit of an illusion theme now; although my deck looks pretty delver now; I think I might enhance the illusion side once 2013 is out, what do you think of my changes? Deck link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=354678 In terms of your deck, have you played the 2013 pc/xbox game; there are a lot of very cool goblin cards in there; my fav are: Goblin piledriver 1/2 (cost (1+1red) protection from blue, whenever it attacks it gets +2/+0 for each other attacking goblin. Relentless assault (2 + 2red): sorcery, untap all creatures, additonal combat phase and main phase. Smelt (cost 1red): destroy target artifact (for the side board) Krenko, Mob Boss 3/3 (cost 2 plus 2red), tap - put X 1/1 red goblins on the battlefield, where X is No of goblins you control. So I think you might need to free up some space in your deck soon :)
thanks Tremorth, I've quite a bit of illusion; I've tried to keep my deck pretty flexible; if i come up against a delver deck; I was thinking of taking in my illusions from the sideboard along with the cavern to get them on the battlefield. I think I'm going to be relying on counter for sacrifice affects. I'm going with standard format; so I don't think I can use lightning greaves? Will check out your deck soon, cheers
Thanks for the advice Jestrix; I did quite a bit of re-working. I'm keen to keep my deck fairly flexible against other deck types, esp delver. I've decided keeping the white in just makes too many sacrifices; so I've gone strictly blue / green. I've kept a cavern of souls in there; since against a delver deck I could bring this in with my illusion creatures to get quite a few counter proof creatures on the board with hexproof. Taking out the white leaves me vulnerable to sacrifice so I would focus my counters on any creatures / spells with that effect. I've also put a fairly weak architect / wurmcoil / phrexian metamorph mecanic in the sideboard Let me know your thoughts, cheers
I'm really new to magic and building a life gain deck too ... have you seen that creature card in Ajani's deck on the 2013 magic the gathering which states you win if your life exceeds 40... I think when 2013 becomes effective, you should definately add that card.
