Deck discussion for Porcelain Engine

Thought about the same concept, but already having 4 artifact based deck I've put it on the shelf.

I would increase the number of lands with this type of mana curve. You may want to slim down your manacurve as there are too many high cost cards. I would also consider to trim it to blue/white as your mana curve don't afford three colors without additional mana ramp.

I would evaluate to include the following cards
- Master of Etherium
- Etherium Sculptor
- Thoughtcast instead of Fabricate since this is not a combo-deck
- Phyrexian Metamorph
- Etched Champion
- Spellskite
- Steel Overseer

I would loose the following cards
- All Black cards
- Open the Vaults
- Sphinx Revelation
- Azorius charm
- Glassdust hulk
- Fabricate

This switch will keep it Modern, and may even make it a cheaper deck :)

Please see two of my artifact decks, maybe there are some ideas there. Or you might have some input to me :)

Hey, thanks for ur ideas but the concept is a litte bit different against other artifact decks.
I would like to clear few things.
This deck isnt based on huge number of artifacts on the field so affinity and metalcraft isnt what i looking for..
When i builded this deck i wanted to steal the best from the colors it represent. So im not gonna leave any color as u suggest but u have right that lands need to be increased... i had sometimes problem with it but Porcelain Legionnaire is safe house here same for Canonist.
Im not gonna lie here, when u are without Canonist on open hand its even harder to play against aggro decks
but can be handled with cycling, charm or fabricate...
I would like to highlight the cycling methods here with Vaults and Academy ruins it works very well for me.

- Master of Etherium : this guy is good for cheap artifact decks, but here its not the best choose
- Etherium Sculptor: same as Canonist except the Canonist is more pain in the ass for ur opponent and u can buy turn with another cards so i can pass this one too
- Thoughtcast: it has same concept as Master of Etherium and Fabricate is here for Engine most of the time or some good combat cards as Esper Sojournes or Shieldmage even the Transmuter is good to look for with it.
- Phyrexian Metamorph: sure this guy is excellent to many deck (sideboard) ;)
- Etched Champion: every artifact deck love him but metalcraft is not always easy to reach. (sideboard)
- Spellskite : this thing is overpovered everywhere :D and i srsly looking for space to get it there... but in future it will be there for sure
- Steel Overseer: this guy is better for cheapest artifacts but can be played here too... but in real he has not the best apply if u have srsly good open hand or the good field and even then he will be focused soon if u will.

- All Black cards: im not gonna do this
- Open the Vaults - work with cycling, good when u are forced to block or just for hard times
- Sphinx Revelation - this card is amazing in late game but it has 1st place when u need to switch something from sideboard
- Azorius charm- good slow down or rescue from unexpected combos or good combo with Academy ruins when u run out of cycling cards.
- Glassdust hulk - dont underestimate this guy, cycling cost is amazing and can be played from gy or just with Master Transmuter and sometimes u can easier go through hard def of ur opponent.
- Fabricate - was many times mentioned why this card is here.

Going to check ur decks too, thanks again for ur comment and excuse my poor english (:

Not sure why you compare Ethersworn Canonist with Etherium Sculptor as they're very different. Etherium Sculptor would greatly assist you in getting those big artifacts on the table.

Still think you're keeping the deck too slow by sticking to all three colours and a high manacurve. But as this is a casual deck, I guess it depends on your match-up at home :) Would have loved to play this deck against my own artifact decks :)

PS: Your English is very good :)
