Mortician Beetle grows throughout the game. Make your opponent sacrifice any creature that could cause a problem. One of a great combo I love in this deck would be to already have one Artisan of Kozilek in play ( get one in faster with the dark rituals), then cast Burnt Offering and sacrifice it (giving you 9 mana) to cast another one, and put the one you just sacrified back in play.
