i saw your comment, I just think playing 3 colors ...no no I KNOW playing 3 colors in infect just is not as fast....if you read my comments , I said green is great for infect, but what good is a creature with infect if it can be blocked, With blue you have distortion strike, soaring seacliffs, with black, plague imp, and stabbing pain...the reason my deck win turn 4-5 every time is because I always have a way in, and once ai get in, I either vampire bite or unholy strength....green is better for mid-game, but I say screw the mid-game , just win aggro. I would like to hear your opinoins on the matter :) and ty for commenting

I thought of that...if you read my 2nd comment, youll see I've tried it...Sure green has some nice infectors....and groundswelll and vines of vastwood are good, however, infect becomes much faster when it cant be blocked...blue with distortion strike and soaring seacliff....along with plague stingers....this deck rarley loses

While I do like this set up, infect creatures in general dont live long...I'd rather avoid the mid-game at all cost.... however...you decks would hold up turn 6-8 better then mine, but this rarley goes past 5-6

please comment on this typical deck...my first post here. Also, I find switching out the livewire lash for a stabbing pain...it may seem crazy at first, but stabbing pain is anothe rone mana drop that does -1/-1 and taps creature....its like an early game distoration strike...dont ever need a livewire if your never getting blocked. I played today and went 4-0 against a r/w goblin squardon hawk arrgo type deck.

Ahh yes...one more thing. Alot of people argue that green is better for infect...things like giant growth or vines ans groundswell...well though you need a possible extra turn for the kill ...I find the distortion strike to be a game winner...thr rebound makes it amost broken in infect....quiter often my opponent sees it coming and just conceeds anyhow. black with the phyrexian crusader is also great in current standard....and hand of the preator just lets all your creature pump and drops a poision ever rtime you cast....green can always be blocked and doesnt have black good infectors. Ive tried 3 colors...just dont.

I find if you dont get the 1 mana spells right away...youll just have the creature a couple turns to hold stuff off....even then the holy strenth (hopefully on a livewire lash if your still in at turn four or 5) is just as cheap as any other 1 mana instant except the creature gets to "keep" the +2 +1

Turn one ...swamp/ turn two island ..any 2 drop creature/ turn 3 ...any land (soaring seacliff will give it flying if it wasn't a stinger already) ...distortion strike and or vampire bite and or holy strenth...if not that, then cast your livewire lash and wait for it. the odds of not having any one of those 16 spells or 20+ possible creatures is low... Point is...even when I run into a little trouble...all this deck takes is a flying or unblockable swing in a couple turns...its hard for most people to hit me for 20 in under 5-6
if you can get the crtures though and you've still in turn 6 or above..Illl use livewire lash as creature kill if needed. OK ..im rambling...Im yet to see a faster infect in u/b that also stands a little chance in later mid game
