Deck discussion for Borås Deck Wins

cursed scroll... really? Looks like crap even if you have 1 card at hand.

Cursed scroll has become obsolete in the current Legacy meta, but when it was released, most every deck used it. It is far from 'crap'. repeatable 2 targeted damage every turn in aggro decks like this that can play out their hand in a few turns is pretty useful. Turns every topdeck into damage, and you can still have enough mana to play whatever it is.

Alright then, I'm pretty new to mtg so maybe I was wrong. But still 3 mana per shot sounds expensive to me, then again the spells are cheap.

I also got the same wrong first impression but it became a staple in aggressive decks back in the old Extended days (Sligh/Suicide Black/PTJunk/LLL/Ponza) and far more efficient than its predecessor: the Hammer Of Bogardan...
It also helped a lot also to get rid of those white annoying creatures with protection (White Knight/Mother Of Runes/Soltari Priest, etc)
My decklist is deliberately sub-optimal (I wanted an easy deck to pilot for my friends re-using the cards I have) and the Scroll spot really belongs to Price Of Progress or more burn in current metagame
