This is a creature-based control deck. The main goal is to play your creatures and gain value. Take control of your opponent's best creatures and sacrifice them to bounce the remaining creatures on board. Or to reset your "clone" effects.
Try to clone your opponent's best creatures, and slow their progress by countering important spells. Don't be the main target, otherwise you'll run out of cards trying to defend yourself.

More often than not, I found that in EDH my Mana Leaks wasn't that great if drawn too late the game. For cheap counters I find that Hinder, Deprive, Forbid, and even Cancel worked out pretty well. I think Desertion would really be neat in this deck though.

In the same way itsjeremyseth says he does not like mana leak, I like bounce spells more than counters. They seem to draw a little less hate from the group. They are more versatile late game, even if they don't stop instants and sorceries. Also they double as a way to save your permanents. Boomerang, hoodwink, unsummon, call to heel, unsummon, etc... In this deck it is also a great way to get your clones back in your hand so they can copy better creatures. Also, isochron scepter is a great fit in a blue control deck.
