Deck Description

The main idea of this deck is to hurt alot with werewolves. Start by spamming those wolves out, then go all in with your creatures and use Moonmist to crush your foes. In a good scenario these werewolfs would have dealt up to 28 damage on turn 4 and 85 damage on turn 5 with trample and Moonmist.
If you have any suggestions of how the deck could look like, feel free to comment. Any ideas on the sideboard would also be appreciated.

How to Play

Moonmist plays a major role in this deck if you use it wisely. Try to always attack before you use moonmist in order to know how they choose to block. This way it is you who control the fighting, and not them as they might think. Then cast moonmist to flip your wolves and kill their creatures. Moonmist can also be useful in defence to prevent a lot of damage coming your way. Therefore Moonmist is really good: It is a flip your wolves card, a Fog and making sure that only wolves can hit this turn. It also kills some of the transforming planeswalkers.

Duskwatch Recruiter lets you get your werewolves out much faster.

Geier Reach Bandit works well with the Mayor, Huntmaster, Rider and Recruiter because you can utilise their transformed abilities directly.

If you want to hit hard then Breakneck Rider + Kruin Outlaw can make some serious damage. Also spam some wolves out with Mayor of Avabruck and Huntmaster of the Fells. Then some good buffs from Full Moon's Rise, Mayor of Avabruck and Immerwolf makes your creatures crazy overpowered.

Isochron Scepter + Moonmist is a very nasty combination in this set. This way your foes will have a very tough time defending against the wrath of your lycans.

Deck discussion for R/G Werewolf Modern

only 1 Immerwolf currently? You should have 4, becaUse not only do they power up your wolves, but keep them transformed until he dies. That's great! I don't think you know how good that is, so i'd recommend 4 please.

I totally agree with you that four immerwolfs are better, but as i stated i currently own only one immerwolf :( but I will get more soon. I use the immerwolfs instead of huntmaster of the fells because immerwolf counters him. I appreciate your tips! Hopefully this will be good enough in FNM when i get better wolfs!

Glad you like it! I also need some more mayors and Huntmasters, otherwise I don't know what else to add or remove. Perhaps more burn and planeswalkers. It has been really good thus far on the FNMs though, and if it is possible to make it better I would just be glad ;)

1 Scorned Villager? Sad :( Generally very nice deck, expensive but nice.

Can you check my Werewolves Standard Deck too?

I want to start by saying you really helped me out here. I am a fairly new player to MTG, and as such, I would often get decimated when playing with my friends or in MTG events. Then I saw and made this deck. Now, when i go to FNM, not only can I hold my own, but I am actually able to win more often than not. Thank you for helping me out of noobhood!

Werewolved are back in Shadows over Innistrad! I have updated this deck to include the new werewolf cards and some other options from other sets. As for now this deck will be modern. Perhaps in the next set Eldritch Moon we will get some cards like Immerwolf and Huntmaster to make it standard playable. Do you have any ideas on how to improve the deck, without leaving the theme? Then let your voice be heard and leave a comment!
