Deck Description

It is all black and uses Anowon to make others sacrifice.
Many Vampires are used to ensure you don't lose creatures but they do.
Great in almost any situation.
Amazing mana ramp.
The sideboard is cards I have used in the past in this deck or thought about.
(I'd like to make this into an EDH deck if I can get some help...)

Deck discussion for Sacrifice to the Bloodchief

Okayyy. First of all, you reallly need to cut down on the singles and make the deck more consistent. Also, for a standard 60 card deck, you might want to run 24 lands. So before i can offer any more advice, you need to find the focus of the deck, then add or take out what you will and will not need accordingly (:

Look over my mana ramping cards again. Maybe even try drawing a few sample hand. Know that since Vault of whispers is treated like a artifact not when laying it I could lay down 4 of them turn one if I had them. Also notice the 4x Everflowing Chalice. Those 8 cards make my mana curve near perfect. Sometimes I have so much mana I can't use it all. So trust me when I say that this doesn't need 24 lands. If anything I could take out 10 lands for something else and do fine. [But I'm being over zealous here.] Hope you understand the deck better now.

I don't do competitions. So ignore the large side board.

The idea is ripe, I personally would only play black for vampires, but like shadowshun said, consistency is key. Try also to build up your mana curve a little better, a suggestion of mine being to put in four Gatekeeper of Malakirs. Just try to not have such a variety, be consistent, and most importantly, be mana curve-friendly.

refer both below and above at the comment I put on shadowshun's comment.
I need ideas for other cards that may mix in well mostly. If you have ideas please let me know. I am always open to ideas on new ideas for it, just know the mana curve isn't an issue.

Surprisingly the singles aspect works nicely since I get plenty of mana to use diabolic or demonic tutor. So I just look for which ever of my creatures would work best for the situation. This deck has a way to conquer most deck strategies. It couldn't stop blue's mill and it would have difficulty against a burn but could still win. Also the side board is large to show other cards I switch in and out sometimes to experiment.
Besides I don't do competitions so I can have as large of a side board as I please. I only play with friends. So this works for my needs.
And notice the 4 Vault of Whispers and the 4 Ever-flowing chalice. I have a TON of mana by turn 6. Normally on turn 1 I can play 2-5 mana depending on how many Vault of Whispers I get. I've played an Anowon the first turn before using this. Trust me the mana ramp is amazing so it IS mana curve friendly. I've never done better at getting a mana curve that grows this fast out side of green.

Sorry that the Vault of Whispers ended up doubling to show 2 4x Vault of Whispers... it doubled it somehow. I'll delete one of the 4x. Since it's and artifact I can only have 4 per deck.

About the gatekeepers. Yeah sometime I trade out Repentant and Sengir for the Gatekeepers. But I wouldn't trade out any of the other vampires for them... so I'd have to start removing artifacts or spells/enchantments for the other two.

If you have the cards try out this deck once. You'll be surprised. Its my pride and joy. =]
