Deck Description

thanks to all who helped design this deck and make it my first hot deck xD
my meta was not prepared for a blade deck to come back into play. it has stomped most everyone, with some issues with control type decks at times.

Tax Blade
In the world where everything comes for the right price, my price. What are you willing to pay to play? A game of good fun since a little taxation never killed anyone...

EDIT- 4/19
attempting a change or two
geist of st traft
ojuita's command
narset, transcendent

suggestions appreciated.

Deck discussion for Tax Blade - edit 4/19

You're almost on to something here. The idea is alright, but the execution is a little flawed. Right off the bat i would get rid of Ætherspouts, Pooling Venom, Consecrated Sphynx, and Oppressive Rays. Your removal could be a little better too actually.

You definitely want to go up to 4 on Arbiter, and to really take advantage of Arbiter, run Ghost Quarters instead of Tec Edges, and run Path to Exile for removal. Also, really the main reason to add black would be for discard. I suggest running 4 Inquisition of Kozilek. You could also look at Duress, or Thoughtseize.

I have a Modern deck i'v been working on for a while here

Thanks for the suggestions.
This deck started as a casual-budget-tax with stuff I had lying around and turned into this eventually, so some of the cards were just the skeleton it used to be/what worked well vs my friends that I've had a hard time swapping out because against them it works xD will try this new set up out.

I have a feeling this eventually will turn into a B/W deck with the same idea

Steel Shapers gift seems like an easy fit for this build.

I second the Steel Shaper's Gift, you only have 5 possible ways to draw and odds are each time that happens your digging for an equipment. Why not just get what you want/need right away? As far as the SB goes I would add 2x Torpor Orb which is great against Splinter Twin or Pod. 2x Stoney Silence which is amazing against affinity/artifact. 2x Leyline of Sanctity which completely shuts down Burn and 8 rack decks. I would cut Blind Obedience, Sun Titan, Isolation Cell, Ashiok and 1 Pithing Needle.
Just my opinions. Happy Casting :)

I really haven't had a difficult time drawing them. Will add if it becomes an issue.
Thanks for the rest

Invisible stalker is a good touch. Sword of fire and ice would be helpful, but overall awesome. Sideboard is confusing though
