I have absolutely no idea what I am doing...Bahahaha!
Counter Stuff. If they have counters, use Pearl Lake Ancient 'cuz it can't be countered. Dragons are pretty tough. Control them 'till you can play them, then use them to make them cry because it basically shuts them down and gives you an advantage. Against lots of critters, torrent elemental can tap them all and let you hit them with impunity. So, its at least well-rounded, but maybe not ideal because I am noob. Yeeeeah!

I don't see soulfire grandmaster helping you and evolving wilds is just not good add the scry land or even the pain land im trying a 5 color control list if you could take a lookhttp://www.mtgvault.com/vaan104/decks/5-color-control/

Soulfire is being replaced, but evolving wilds is okay. I can't really gain any benefit from painlands in standard. At least, nothing noticeable. I think I'll probably put in some temples, though.
Temples are really needed in control, also you need something ,like End Hostilities or Perilous Vault to sweep up the board, you don't need as many counters but you do need more spot removal, might as well splash black and go into Esper dragons
yes board clears and spot removal will be great if you don't add black maybe use banishing light? if you add black murderous cut and/or ultimate price, utter end is good to. and id run seeker of the way and maybe monastery mentor
Mentor/seeker package doesn't really fit in the board wipe plan, but banishing light is for sure good! Encase in Ice is awesome, it hits pretty much everything in standard, but Vaan you missed the main reason for black! Hero's Downfall! The bane of the aggro decks! Bile Blight would also be awesome, and going into black allows the use of Dragonlord Silumgar and Silumgar the drifting death
I thought about bile blight and downfall but if just splashing black the double black might be tough. if adding end hostilities the mentor/seeker wont help much. I was thinking seeker just for lifegain. if splashing black thoughtsieze might be a good option to then something like treasure cruise or dig through time are nice options to
It might be tough on the mana, but they are too good to pass up, they are the best removal spells in standard and control has enough fixing between Dismal Backwater, Polluted Delta and Temple of Deceit. Seeker isn't really a control card, it takes up valuable space for a removal spell or a draw spell. Dig needs to be here, it is standard's Sphinx's rev
Didnt even notice people were commenting on this. xDChanges have been made in the actual deck. (:
