This is the refined version of my first attempt at making a decent FNM controlish deck for under $15: I'm a newbie magic player (hence why I'm going for a cheap deck), so I'm a bit unsure of the actual effectiveness; any criticism/insight would be greatly appreciated. The idea is to get cheap creatures out and attack each turn, leaving mana untapped for counterspells and bounces (keeping their board empty as possible). Deathblow occurs via mortarpod + unruly mobs + artful dodge(s). I'm especially uncertain about what kind of sideboard to go for, but I figure after I play it several times it'll change dramatically: Currently, the sideboard would be used to counter both mills (Elixir of Immortality) and any decks that play heavily shrouded cards / cards that I can't counter for whatever reason. Nevermore would be used to counter combos. Again, criticism is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'd say midnight haunting over the Collars and you should put Invisible stalkers in just in case you aren't able to keep the board clear.

You definitely want 4 Invisible Stalkers. Maybe remove the Niblis' for him. He's a 2 mana drop Hexproof Unblockable 1/1. Instead of Avacyn's Collar, use Trepanation Blade. 3 mana drop, 2 equip for an unbelievable effect. When equipped creature attacks, the defending player removes cards from his/her deck until they reveal a land card. Equipped creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn for each card revealed this way, and they discard the revealed cards... equip Invisible Stalker with Trepanation Blade, and you're unstoppable.
That's looks solid; I've been looking at the stalkers, and I actually had them in for awhile -- I took them out to balance the mana usage for the deck / add more flying protection. When I order the cards I'll probably add in the stalkers / trepanation blades
I mean, in addition to the cards already there, play around with it a bit. ^_^
A friend of mine used the combo against me. It gets pretty rediculous. Inquisitor's Flail would also be mean on Invisible Stalker. It allows him to deal double damage, while taking double damage if blocked; however, he is unbloackable. The flail is 2 mana for a 2 equip cost. Tie that in + Trepanation? Dear Lord. 1 + reveal X / discard X + +x/+0 + x2 multiplier.
Both cards are relatively cheap. Under a dollar each. Otherwise I kinda like this deck, especially for being so cheap.
