This deck is built around the Disciple of Deceit. I thought it was very interesting and had tons of potential. I decided that its best use would be to fetch up cards that are very situational. Cards like tidebinder mage are not worth to have multiple copies in a deck usually, and if you only have one copy, the chances of you getting it when you need it are slim. This is where the Disciple comes in. Whatever threat the opponent puts fourth, the disciple should be able fetch up just what you need, making you very flexible.NOTE: I understand that this flexibility is what the sideboard is supposed to offer, BUT i play mostly kitchen table rules vs multiple opponents at a time.
Until you get out the Disciple of Deceit, the deck should offer some decent removal so you can protect yourself. Once you get out the Disciple, the first thing you fetch up should be either a specter, or a King Macar. The King should be able to control the battlefield as far as creatures go to buy you more time.Always have an Elixir fetched and ready in case you lose one too many Disciples or need your removal cards back in the deck. The plan is to win through specter and reaver damage, while keeping yourself alive with the control you fetch with your disciple.
