No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Basically a project i've been working on for a time and have finished it with the release of Gatecrash, because Wildwood Rebirth was released, matches this deck perfectly. A lot of Innistrad and Dark Ascension Cards and is quite similiar to the Innistrad Event Deck. Since it is a Self-Mill deck, there are more than 40 cards to provide a proper time to win the game, with only 40 you'd probably get under pressure or would want to play the Laboratory Maniac.

If someone sees points to work on, please notify me about it by leaving a comment below. Something i've been thinking of for example would be to add some Ponders for choosing the cards i don't want in my graveyard.

How to Play

Strategy isn't too hard. Mill your own deck early on with the Skaabs and get a lot of mana thanks to Viridan Emissary and Birds of Paradise. Then bring out the gamemakers of this deck, namely Splinterfright, Boneyard Wurm, Ghoultree, Kessig Cagebreakers, Spider Spawning and make everything even more painful with Artful Dodge, Bonehoard and Wreath of Geists.

Deck discussion for G/U Selfmill Splinterfright

Have you thought of adding a couple mirrormad phantasms?

The thing with the mirrormad phantasms is, that my deck is milled "too much" in my opinion, i think mirrormad phantasm belongs into decks with the mad scientist. It would just be dangerous, since i could lose my entire deck to the graveyard in a single turn and if the enemy then can survive those last turns, i lose because of having no cards.
Still thanks for the comment
