Deck Description

Well, I always thought haste was an insane mechanic. It just gives you such an edge. so heres a deck that really can mess shit up, abusing haste.

URABRASK: originally had 3 in this deck. But it turns out he's not really that good for this deck. 5 mana for a 4/4 is what it came down to, most my creatures already have haste. I MIGHT add him again, for his tap down effect, but who knows..

Deck discussion for Sorry I was so fast...

Beastmaster Ascension is killer with hasty creatures.

Of all the decks for Garruk, this honestly doesn't even seem like the best to me, although the ramp would be handy. I can hardly imagine a vengevine deck without the Fauna Shamans and a big spell deck without Lotus Cobra. These too things seem slightly at odds though. I think deck seems a bit conflicted. Do you want to go big or aggressive small? Right now it looks like go big, but then Vengevine doesn't honeslty fit so well here. Keeping him because of a "haste theme" just isn't worth it IMO. If you want to go big, I would suggest more Urabrask again, Lotus Cobra, and more Inferno Titan/Wurmcoil Engine. Both of those are unbelievably better with haste and the best creatures you could want in a deck like this to have haste. Hero seems slightly misplaced as well with the battlecry seeming like it's probably more underwhelming in this deck. Idk. I guess I'm just not sure where you're trying to direct this deck... It looks interesting, but a bit too conflicted at this stage of development.

I kinda like the fast creatures. it has a very good early game and a great late game. But I think I will go more ramp to hit more bombs. any suggestions?

Well, the bigger you go, the worse Vengevine gets since he becomes much harder to buy back so I'd drop those. Avenger of Zendikar is the nuts. Primeval is sick with Raging Ravines. Lotus Cobra is great. More Explore helps. More mountains to make Koth's -2 better. Urabrask to help your top end titans. I find I'm not hugely fond of Wurmcoil when you have other big bombs available. Hero of Oxid Ridge becomes more underwhelming too. Umm, Cultivate is wonderful ramp. Gaea's Revenge isn't that great as a maindeck card IMO and I never even really wanted it out of the sideboard in my UG deck... Goblin Ruinblaster seems well placed in the format right now and even fits any haste theme. Umm... Yeah, those are all ideas and you definitely don't need to use all of them. Hope that helps for a start..

Arc Trail also seems fine in slowing down opposing decks a bit.

Iunno if I want to even take this path now, lol. but how does that look?

and also, I did some weird sideboard tech in my green white... memoricide. I know it sounds weird, but valakut > my deck. so memoricide could really help with the titan removal. with the 1 swamp and the change so my duals can search for swamps as well (marsh flats and verdant catacombs) i think it's weird, but unexpected and effective.

Umm, the deck is a bit lacking on the ramp/low cmc cards. You have over 10 bombs which is a bit excessive. I like seeing the Karn, though. Seems interesting.

I think so. Yes. It looks quite fun. Could use some tweaking from testing but it looks like a very good start to a fine deck.:) I love ramp. Haha.

Haha, fair enough. I'd say my strength is more for UG but RG is something I'd like to try sometime again soon.
