Deck Description

well, I've been seeing a few psychosis crawler decks, and I must say I enjoy them quite a bit! They seem fun and extremely laid back. So I'll try my own. (:

Except I'm splashing white for spot removal and WoO

Not to be rude, but of course I mind.
By my building a deck for you it defeats the whole purpose of magic. What would you learn? Nothing,

I can HELP you make one, but for you to rely completely on me is absurd, haha.

This looks pretty fun to play, and cheap to build(short of the singleton wallet sculptor).

I like it, I think I might make a casual deck for the crawler. It'd give me a use for the random play set I have sitting in my box at the least, and it should be fun.

Haha thanks man, and yeah that's primarily why I built it. just for casual.
after i get my vengevines (those expensive friggers) i'll build this deck. (:

Vengevine is nice and all, but I prefer me ma Bloodghasts. Try as I might, Vengevine just doesn't work for me except in extended.

I liked him in survival, which I still don't see why it was banned, and in aggro like yours, but I still think that it shouldn't cost that much.

well the price dropped now.

and i should have them by this week, with the following trades;
grave titan/nighthawk/gatekeeper for a vengevine
2 goblin guides for a vengevine
and a jace for a vengevine and a gideon.

then a wurmcoil for a gideon. (:

i know some of the trades arent exactly equal on both ends, but they're my friends so we make due

I might buy some when they hit ten or so a pop, until then they're not worth it to me.

I see how they're good for you and your cohorts in standard, but I don't see it being good enough in legacy for me to pay that much. I would kind of like to use him in bant though.

I think the trades you're doing are really about even, except the one with grave the nighthawks. I just like the thing to much lol

Well, the best way to abuse this deck in my opinion (especially since it is casual anyways) is to run it in multiplayer. I don't know if you've ever seen the damage that can be done with either Jace Beleren or Temple Bell (or even both - I've done it) mixed with Consecrated Sphinx. Now, imagine this is a game of you and 5 other guys. That +2 on Jace with a Sphinx out? Yeah, it just became a draw 11. With a card like Venser's Journal, you have no maximum handsize so it's no big deal. However, you may want a reset button for fear of milling yourself. My deck runs a lone Emrakul and is in a UG build instead of UW for ramp, Rite of Replication (when used on Sphinx can make Jace's +2 a draw 60) and Praetor's Counsel. However, I do like your combo with Psychosis Crawler.

Anyways, just wanted to say that I love the deck. It looks fun, but would probably add the full set of Consecrated Sphinx, at least if multiplayer is at all your aim. I find it to be lots of fun. The cut I would suggest, if going multiplayer at all is Mana Leak. While it's amazing for a one-on-one battle, it fails pretty miserably when you try to counter everything in multiplayer - especially counters that are not true hard counters.

Sorry I wrote a book, btw. Good luck with this.:)
