Deck Description

Well, with the release of New Phyrexia, and even mirrodin besieged, I think this could make green white landfall even stronger. Especially now that money isn't an object in magic, where I've found some guys that don't mind letting me borrow some cards. (:

Same concept behind this deck, hit the big guys, let the land "fall" (see what I did there?) and watch calamity ensue. Primeval I hope will make this deck tick, alongside the new karn and green sun's zenith, I think we have a ridiculously fast, and powerful ramp situation.

Yeah, valakut is good. And we HATE valakut. So, there may be some valakut hate-sideboard tech. *cough* memoricide *cough*

Deck discussion for Green white landfall... Again : o

Hmm... I tried Mystifying Maze in a variety of decks and just have never been overly satisfied with it so that's one card I'm not so sure on. Maybe with the rotation...
Overall the deck looks solid, although Khalni Heart Expidition is not very good IMO. I would usually much rather have Explore or Cultivate. It's a fine card in valakut where you just need mountains to trigger and kill them, but in a normal rampish deck, not so much. Plus, it's pretty aweful late game. Another card to consider is Harrow as it's not my favorite ramp spell but is soo sick with landfall creatures and actually gains you mana for the turn with Lotus Cobra out. Other than that, it's hard to say without some testing but it should help for a start anyways. I like seeing Beast Within. Looks sick.
Other cards to consider - Journey to Nowhere, Nature's Claim (which may be better than Acidic Slime now due to the Splinter Twin combo deck) and ready for it? Act of Aggression! In general, it may not be the best but if the Splinter Twin deck ever gets big in your meta, play this card. Here we go - They cast deciever exarch, then on their turn they cast Splinter Twin on the Exarch. In response, you steal the Exarch and at the end of your turn when it should go back to them, you combo off, untap, attack, and win!

woah, act of aggression. i only now see why that card could be picked over mark, : O

and yeah, kahlni may go.. but this deck was just a spur of the moment ordeal. with batterskull and the new sword, my green white has yet to lose. lol.
I was even lucky enough to be able to use batterskull and the new sword, seeing how my friends pulled them at prerelease, and are letting me use them :D

and it seems as if natures claim is going to be a new staple for green... weak, lol.

Haha, yeah I suppose it will be. But you play green anyway, so you at least get to use it, too! Haha. Batterskull and the new Sword are just sick... Honestly, I wasn't too impressed initially with the new sword's abilities, but honestly... just having protection from red and white is huge! Even in legacy formats! I really would love to pick up a few of those new equipments soon. I'd love to make a fun Legacy Stoneforge deck - Take the swords you have now, add in Batterskull, and best of all: Jitte! Such a freakin' beating!

Haha nice. Yeah, she's pretty insane. Funny how no one seemed to care about her until MBS though.:/ Now she even sees occasional play in Legacy! Have you ever had the experience of playing with Umezzawa's Jitte? If not, try it but not against someone you're afraid will enternally hate you for it. Haha.

why is it so good though?

If you get ONE hit in with the Jitte equipped, you almost litterally cannot lose to any aggro deck. Against combo storm decks you can gain extra life if you need to make them require a slightly higher storm count which can matter at times, and of course if they don't kill your guy, it essentially can have +4/+4 the next time it attacks. In short, no matter what the situation, if you get to attack with your Jitte Equipped guy and deal damage, you don't lose all too quick and the game becomes considerably harder for the opponent. Oh, and best of all... it has a simple cost of 2 to cast and 2 to equip which is actually significant.
