Somehow in recent years sacrificing creatures for various benefits has been an idea that has not yet taken it's form. After I acquired Marionette Master and with the release Aether Revolt and it's Revolt mechanics I finally started to make a deck with heavy emphasis on sacrifice and how to benefit out of it.I also love Panharmonicon with ETB effects and felt obliged to use that also in this deck.Deck is constructed of cards from Battle for Zendikar, Oath of the Gatewatch, Shadows over Innistrad, Eldritch Moon, Kaladesh and Aether Revolt sets.Early game will be difficult with this deck as there is quite a few ways of hindering your enemy down. However, after you have Panharmonicon and some fabricators on the table, wheels start to roll in your favor.Basic strategy of the deck is to have enough servos for sacrifice and let Marionette Master(s) deal damage straight to your opponent's face. Revolt mechanics is nicely supported with sacrifice as you practically can always control when you get revolt triggered. Some notes about card selections:Ayli is a multipurpose too in this deck. It works well as a defender with deatthouch. It might keep those heavy hitters at bay with only deathtouch. On the otherhand, when you have Marionette Master on battlefield, sacrifice ability is pretty much as good it can get. You get 1 life from a servo with 1 mana and your opponent takes damage equal to Marionette Masters power.Panharmonicon is self explanatory. You get more fabricate triggers and can control battlefield better with deadeye harpooner and blinking of craetures when needed.Hidden stockpile is very usefull utility card in this deck. You get a free servo when you sacrifice one. Combine this with Ayli for example and you get multiple effects from just one sacrifice at the same time.Call for unity is also quite self explanatory. The earlier it is on the battlefield, the mightier it will get. At T6 you should easily start sacrificing creatures for damaging your opponents so each turn your creatures gro bigger and better.Bound by moonsilver is propably the best early on control card in this game. Nice thing is, that by sacrificing a creature, you can change the target which it enchants - Even to a servo you control if opponent has hexproof or no creatures.Eerie Interlude and Acrobatic Maneuver are there for blinking and triggering more ETB effects. In the sideboard I have only Voldaren Pariah at the moment. This could be considered to replace Deadeye Harpooner. Voldaren Pariah is nice to transform - sacrifice three creatures (ouch for your opponent with Marionette Master). Then other nice thing to do is blink your transformen Voldaren Pariah - It returns to battlefield in original form, so you can sacrifice three creatures again. Opponent has taken hefty damage and needs to sacrifice total 6 creatures he/she controls.Playtesting is still pending with this deck. Earlier version, prior to Aether Revolt release, had problems with mana curve. Full playset of CMC 6 Marionette Master is not good in a deck without mana ramping abilities.
Fabricate for servos early onPlay Panharmonicon as early as possibleFabricate even more, start using Acroubatic maneuver to get more ETB triggers for fabricate and Deadeye Harpooner with some Bone Splinters.Go for marionette master and start boosting marionette's power and sacrificing servos with Bound by Moonsilver, Ayli, Altar's Reap or Bone Splinters. Sorin is thrown in for some card advantage & additional damage. Inventors' fair should be used for popping that Panharmonicon out to get more benefit from fabricate. At the moment, deck is lacking plain removal without sacrificing any of your own, so early game will be difficult and some tips would be appreciated.
