Keep in mind that Jared is legendary, I'd probably run 3 at most.I'd try to find some cheap creatures with high power that would scavenge well with Varolz (Kalonian Tusker, Child of Night, Corpse Hauler, Pack Rat, Brushstrider, Dryad Militant).
