The thing is I personally don't like that combo, it doesn't work for me flavorwise. I don't like instawins, I like to work for it, even in my mass polymorph deck, http://www.mtgvault.com/ergon314/decks/mass-polymorph/, it's not an instant win. I still have to work for it.

I'd slash the jara mage, it's too slow,as it's a 3 mana investment for a 1/1

grixis, so much control, plus cruel ultimatum. That card rocked. 90% of the games it was cast in resulted in a win for the castor in tournament play!

I didn't notice that this was a t2 deck. When I think of the Minotaurs, I think of the Shards Era, when I was rocking a playset in my Jund deck.

I'd suggest an amulet of vigor or 2 in order to keep your lands entering untapped, as the bulk ETB tapped

no, you're a RDW deck. the blood moon will take up slots for burn spells. Also, ditch the bribery for more burn, as well as the streetwraith. Howling mine is another potential to restock your hand with more burn.

Any thoughts on this: http://www.mtgvault.com/ergon314/decks/valakut/?

counterspell, negate, essence scatter, rewind, pre ordain, ponder, for see, divination.

This is what I consider the counterspell-card draw suite. tailor them to your local play group

There's no need for a combo build as the other two are combos in and of themselves.

If you want aggro, I'd ditch the control entirely and run a pure ramp suite with painters servant, elvish piper, and dramatic entrance, turn 5 eldrazi. again ditch the extra creatures but the big 3 eldrazi, and a 4 of each.

Oi vey! That's ridiculous. Decks like this are a niche, that I will never participate in ever.

I don't see it. What is it?

Well I'd change it to a control build, run a full counterspell-card draw suite, run a playset of show and tell, and cut all creatures but the big 3 eldrazi, as the rest are superfluous.

I'd also consider painters servant dramatic entrance, as that would also work well with summoning trap, as you'll need to filter through your deck to find the eldrazi.

I've build that deck before and it runs well.

I've also done token generation for a polymorph win: http://www.mtgvault.com/ergon314/decks/mass-polymorph/
That's my preference, as people never see it coming.
