I'm failing to see how this deck works, what are you casting with sylvan caryatid?

It doesn't work. Earliest he could do it is turn 4. The blue is for helix.
i like it but dont see the auto turn 3 win
It's actually a turn 4 win.
as i said, turn 3 have a rattleclaw or sylvan out with ascendancy and an altar out aswell as a tormods crypt, retraction to helix your mana dork, untap trigger, return tomords crypt put it back down mill trigger, and then it goes on forever
Your how to play is incorrect. Might as well toss in ornithopter for Inf mana.
Ok I see how it works now, but for a combo with that many pieces to get going on turn 3 you would have to be lucky as all hell. Otherwise I don't see this deck going until turn 6-7 on average.
thats why i have divination, dig through time, tormenting voice for drawing them if i dont have them.
The odds on turn 3 are about 36% combo but you forget there's a high odd of you being mana screwed and/or not even have a decent opening hand with even half of the cards to play
And the consistency issue is why even though they could win turn 3 (depending on what version) it was dubbed a turn 4 win.
Math may not not be perfect but it can get god damn close
I still think adding ornithopter for infinite mana would be hilarious. Mostly because my rakdos deck could get rid of the altar, making the mill win con void.
Thing is I found a deck like this and it went undefeated 7-0 and got first place at a tournament. It was a local tournament just a special 2 extra rounds event
