Deck Description

My own version of a standard Azorious flicker deck started by noodlegts here: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=401149

Hopefully this version will be much more competitive as it can go infinite and has more early pressure and control. I will probably iterate on this list a bit to see how I can improve it since it seems like it has some powerful potential.

Flickering Humans will make the Champions get much larger as well as many other effects.

Flicker Targets:

- Village Bell-Ringer (untap everything) : This generates free tokens from the Doomsayer, free counters from Mikaeus and free mana from the Azorius Keyrune once activated.

- Azorius Arrester/Lyev Skyknight: This locks down your opponent's board.

- Archaeomancer: Bring back your spells.

- Angel of Glory's Rise: Revive everything.

Deck discussion for Flickering Humanity

adding 2 more fiend hunters to this would make it much more likely to hit the infinite.

Also, you should probably include a couple of cyclonic rift (at least in SB), as well as SBing some negates (to stop ur creatures being wiped) and some detention spheres, as they're very useful for dealing with troublesome creatures/walkers and multiples.

I'm not sure deadeye navigator works that well here. His ability is nice, and does have some synergy with champion of the parish, but perhaps not enough to be included. I'd be tempted to swap these for azorius charms or ghostly flickers.

Deadeye is there to blink with the Restoration Angel (or any of the blink targets really) which in turn can blink everything else.

I actually wasn't intending the "infinite" to just be Champion of the Parish Counters. Obviously that is the easiest to do with the 2x fiend hunters though. This can go infinite everything. Infinite mana, counters on everything, tokens, exile of opponent's creatures, detaining of opponent's permanents, etc.

I haven't created the sideboard yet but I was considering some of those options as well. Mentor of the Meek would probably be sideboarded as well (or maybe find a spot main deck) to allow infinite draw.

I switched out two cards to add two clones which will make it much more powerful.

I like the flicker on Archaeomancer, but he's a bit too expensive for his ability...

I'd play more Find Hunter & more Skyknight...

Drop Clone!..

I'd play Negate in the sideboards...

Possible sideboards: 3 Rest in Peace, 3 Rootborn Defences, 4 Negate, 2 Dissipate, 3 Thalia...

There's already 3 Negates main deck so I can't exactly put 4 more sideboard. Clone is there as the "ultimate" flicker target. Copy any creature I have or even copy the opponents big threat. Flickering their Thragtusk would be pretty insane. I might replace it but I want to try it out first.

Took some of your feedback and changed some things around. I like wingcrafter. He's cheap, triggers humans, and can give your champion flying to prevent him from being chump blocked forever.
