Deck discussion for Hellsing Vampires

Hey enragedmg5,

I like the Tribal theme! Since every creature that your deck runs costs four mana and up, you'll really want to focus on strong removal so that your Vampire creatures can win in the lategame. Why don't you replace your Aura spells with good early-game options? Doom Blade, Lightning Bolt, Incinerate, and the like should all work very nicely.

I've also built a Tribal deck - but mine focuses on Wizards. Check it out!

Yea i added the Pyrohemia and pestilence for that reason, it works wonders :)

I wouldn't agree with that. Both Pyrohemia and Pestilence cost four mana to cast, so you have many dead draws until there are four lands on your board. This won't work, because good Aggro decks can finish the game by turn four if undisrupted.

Pyrohemia and Pestilence are, I would agree, very good. I suggest you substitute cards like "Lavamancer's Skill," "Power of Fire," and "Vampiric Link" for better early-game removal.

No problem. I hope this deck will turn out to work better for you!
Meanwhile, I've been thinking... how does Dark Ritual look? Early-game vampires could be a very strong play.

Oh. I was going to suggest playing both of them, but that may just be me. Either way, keep Urza's Incubator.

I also have a Vampire Deck. It's mono black. I gotta agree with the other people, you need some earlier game cards. Check out my Vampire deck. I'm not trying to get people to look at it, but it uses some nice early game cards for a vampire deck. (Not all of them are vampires, but the deck wins most of its games.) Just something to give you an idea with what people are suggesting.

I have a monoblack vampire also i would add the new vampire lord the vampire nocturnas and also the new common lifelink vampire child of night its a 2/1 lifelink for 1B also vampire aristocrat um the sengir nosferatu. also some straight up destroy spells would be good like doomblade or assassinate or terror or dark banishing even i hope this helps check out my decks if u the the chance. also just look up all the vampires so u can find out if ud like to check for others
