Haunting Echoes and Mind Funeral really don't go well together being that Haunting Echoes will leave mostly land in an opponents deck. I agree with soulknife with adding more Nemesis of Reason(s). Also if possible, add a few Glimpse the Unthinkable(s).

Thanks spiveyman4u :)
It helps to explain the way you plan for the deck to work and your combo's.
I meant to add where I stated that Isochron Scepter and Glimpse the Unthinkable combo you could save the counter spells for disenchants, etc to keep it going for 2 mana each turn, that would really wipe a deck in a few turns.
I agree with braineater for the most part. IMO you have way too many counters and such for a mill deck, but I see that is your defense. However, you really don't have that many "mill" type cards. I strongly agree if you leave it like this to use Isochron Scepter as braineater said and play that with Glimpse the Unthinkable to keep the loop infinite;unless someone disenchants, returns permanent to owners hand, etc. Just remember, if you have those creature walls out, Wrath of God hurts you too. I just got home from playing 2vs2 for nearly 12 hours and my millage deck totally annihilated 2 opponents. I was quiet pleased with it, although I see that braineater had the Isochron Scepter which would make a mill deck unbeatable with Glimpse the Unthinkable. (Thanks braineater) :)
Very nice, I like it.
So, help me out then? We only play Vintage (T1), so what would help this deck withstand against other Vintage decks?
Thanks stverhae, I have edited it a bit, please comment and thanks to everyone who is helping.
How is it terrible for a T1 deck?
Thanks guys, I will add 4x Quillspike and drop down the high mana costing creatures to x3.
Also, why Cancel and not Counterspell? (Both Counterspell and Control Magic are 1 less mana to cast, according to the rules I looked up, they should be legal in vintage (T1) rules, correct?).
May I ask why use Mind Control instead of Control Magic? (Sorry, I just returned from many years of not playing, still trying to learn the new rules, abilities, etc)
