Deck Description

Mage's bane and a Nightwolf's Mane
Raven's claw and Viper's Fang
toe of Thanes
and a Witch's Veins
in cauldron's flames shall remain untamed

Viper's Ire and venom's briar
Willwood branch to light the fire
Baron's sire
Tongue of liar
in Pyre's mires that never tire

Eyes of lizard and heart of wizard
claw of wolf and pigeons gizzard
infants innards
for blood-filled vineyards
make a blizzard of souls delivered

Make this curse upon mine foe
Touch him, thrust him, bring him woe
Accept mine wrath
From depths below
Bring them Pain
A Wolf's Sorrow

From the gates of hell, hate-filled so-
A cursed curse I bestow!

(Witches Curse: Werewolf Ward)

Deck discussion for Witchbane Werewolves

Looks very nice and seems like it runs smooth.

thanks, intention is to clear the way for big bad wolves with anti-sorcery/instant protection. In optimum play it should always punish players for playing spells, and put them on the conservative playstyle, which gives the Wolves freedom to pound away with their immense size.

Looks pretty good. Only things I would think to try out would be Full Moon's Rise as an answer to board wipes and upping the count of Immerwolf to 4, seems like too good a lord not to have a playset of.

I don't like to run full immerwolves because of Huntsman. His amazing abilities only occur when he DOES change. Also, if they can't attempt to make the 2 spell minimum to change, they won't try, thus negating Mage hunter's abilities as well. I use two so I at least have the option to stick them in wolf form if I want, but otherwise I don't intend to use immerwolf liberally in this deck. As for the Full Moon's Rise, I think I'll stick 2 in and 2 more in sideboard...

POEM rocks. Just enough a splash of comedy that I can believe it's an actual incantation by eldritch witches who have better things to do than write dramatic verse and just want the right syllable structure to catch a demon's ear.
ALSO, Huntsmaster rocks.
Moonmist synergy, as always.
AND DECIMATE. Hilarious fun card in multiplayer.

Threw a poem on my rockin' Delver Salt Standard deck, because I always pitied the poor bastard.

Read it and liked it, but to be honest I like your heavier and more dramatic poems. A little humor took it a long way for me, but it didn't do the same for me as your Inn of the Wolf's Moon one did. Keep em coming though I still enjoy them all!
