Deck Description

UB Zombie tourney legal and fun.

Add in Undead Alch to switch to mill mode if you feel its necessary. Also add Altar's Reap at your leisure if you prefer more card draw and use Tragic Slip and Victim of night against beater type decks.

Zombie apocalypse for flavor (Though still not a bad sub I suppose).

Any ideas?

Only 8 blue producing lands and you're running 4 mana leaks? :/ Do you know the probabilities involved? Also, why only 3 Gravecrawlers? They're the second best zombie in standard, next to Geralf's Messenger...

yea wasn't sure about the land spread, but haven't had too many problems so far since I only need 1 or 2 blue for the whole game. The gravecrawler is 3 because in early game 1 or 2 is fine and mid game to late game I only need 1 or 2 in the GW to recast for Grimgrin. But if you provide a good argument for keeping them in other than "they are good" I'll consider subbing out something.

Okay, let's put it this way: your deck has one or two fast creatures, but lacks heavy beaters aside from Geralf's Messenger. And it lacks removal spells. For example, how would it deal with Thrun or a resolved Dungrove Elder? Here's what I'd suggest: google "GP Lille top 8 deck lists". Look for Parker's zombie tribal. That deck made history by not dropping a single match throughout the entire tournament! It's basically an aggro deck, a Black Deck Wins, if you will. It's fast, scary and sweepers like Day of Judgment don't really stop it. I'm not saying copy that deck verbatim but take some pointers from it, like running a full set of Tragic Slips, some Geth's Verdicts, etc. Also consider dropping Rooftop Storm for some more 2 drops just to smooth out that mana curve.

that is an excellent deck you recommended and adding more removal would be a good idea. I usually don't like very fast decks since I don't play tourny's very often. I prefer casual play so a deck that has something for every stage of the game, is versatile, and has a lot of flavor is something I prefer. However, I am definitely bookmarking Parker Perfect's deck for consideration and will probably change this deck to be a little more effective in certain areas. Thanks for the suggestion.
