The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck discussion for new slivers

That's alot of Slivers. You need the Land card "Mutavault" and a "Door of Destines" would help too.

"Mutavault" can turn itself into a 2/2 creature with ALL creature types. (This includes Sliver) For only {1}. It is definitely an essential for any Sliver deck.

A. It's an expensive card to buy.
B. I'd much rather have that spot filled by either a colored mana that will allow me to put something out, or a sliver that can actually help all of the other slivers. For a one time cost of only 2 mana (basically the same as transforming mutavault when you consider you can't use it for mana that turn) I can get a permanent sliver that's a 2/2 that gives vigilance or a 2/2 that pumps all of my other slivers. And that is only the 2/2 options

While it might be a neat trick, it is in no way "essential"

Lo no shit. I'm keeping this to a somewhat fair/ cheap deck to build and while i love the shit out of lightning bolts i dont really need them for this deck. they are there as removal spells later in the game not as direct damage in the begginning .... does that make sense. alos all my additional spells are 1C which is nice....
