Discard

I've wanted to make a discard deck since shortly after I started playing in 1995. I made one back then and continued to revise it. I have 4 versions of it but this one is my favor. I have always liked bouncing cards back to play's hand and I have always liked discard, and this deck does them both with great effectiveness and ease.

Despite its many combos, the deck is actually quite straight forward.

Defense comes primarily from Propaganda, Dissipation Field, Dismal Failure and Frightful Delusion.

Offence comes primarily from Liliana's Caress, Quest for the Nihil Stone, and Painful Quandary.

The remaining cards tie the offence and defense together. Warped Devotion making the bounce cards combo as discard as well thus neutralizing threats and dealing damage at the same time. Copy Enchantment is very varietal due to the high number of enchantments in this deck so it simply adds utility to the deck. Finally, Blizzard Specter, the star of the show, allows you to remove what is left of the opposite's hand and then begin eliminating his permanent in play. I like to start with the lands so they can't play anything else; unless there is an immediate threat in play.

Deck Play Flow:
1st - Quest for the Nihil Stone or Dark Ritual + Quest + Liliana's Caress
2nd - Liliana's Caress
3rd - Propaganda or Dark Ritual + Painful Quandary
4th - Dissipation Field or Blizzard Specter
5th - Painful Quandary or Warped Devotion

The sideboard is full of cards that would make the deck more powerful but also more expensive. I have all the cards in the sideboard but I feel it is better to post the deck as Legacy and estimated value of under $50.
