Alpha Status feels kind of odd in this deck, as you seemingly don't have a dominant creature type (4 snakes, 2 fungi, 2 bears, 2 wolverine?) . Mostly elves, but not to the point where there are noticeably, like, a million. Your best bet is your Garruk, who can generate beasts, which are tough, but not so reliable. So I'd argue for Rancor, which is even cheaper (mana-wise), more reliable, and trample hurts, even on these small guys. It even survives creature wipes. Just my two cents.
