Deck Description

Well nothing new here..... but my own take on a Taps deck. I don't think I need to explain anything and all comments will be more than welcome!

Have a nice day, all!

EDIT 08/12 Well..... my deck is evolving toward something else. There's still elements of tap in it but the blink aspect can't be denied now. I also feel that the addition of Day of Judgement and Gideon Jura change the pace a lot more in my advantage. Furthermore, I've got a lot more munitions to fight against a wider range of decks now. Taps is fun but concentrated Taps leaves to be desired against decks with not that many creatures.

Deck discussion for Tap Tap Revolution

Do you think that Sejiri Refuge would be good in here? Anything else you see amiss or that might be bettered?

Thanks everyone!

Gideons Avenger would be good for all the tapping

I'll certainly keep him in mind. Still on the fence about using him but he may be able to provide the middle range punch I seem to be lacking while waiting for Sun Titan / Sunblast Angel to come out.

Am wondering if 14 cards playable at 3CC is overkill...... still learning the in's and out's of Mana Curve so.... any comments on that? And I definitely think I'll be adding a second Sun Titan to the mix. One of each doesn't inspire confidence in the ability to pull them out when needed....

I'd worry about the number of 3-casts, too, especially since you're running a bit low of the color-fixing side. You're playing a lot more with Venser's abilities than I am, which is cool. Wall of Omens combos great with him for repeatable draw. Venser + Stonehorn + Aether Adept = Stall the crap out of you opponent. It stinks that none of that can happen early game, though.

I would switch your numbers for the Frost and Sun Titans, though, if you want this to have a tap focus. Other than that... I'd be curious to see this run. :) Had a U/W mill with Venser and his first ability is just way to fun to abuse.

Sometimes, I think this deck has a personality problem; it taps and it blinks but is not too much on either side.

From what few I've played with it, it seems to be coming out fairly well, losing only because I am so rusty and not playing often enough.

I totally agree with you for the lateness of some combos. And I have yet to use Stonehorn effectively. If only because by the time I can play him, I'm either playing a 3-cast and leaving some mana open or because later on, I have a Titan available to play. Doesn't mean is no good.... may be just because the right situation hasn't popped up yet. I'll keep my eye on him.

As for the Titans, I really don't know yet. It may be you are right though. I'll playtest some more.

And Venser is great. I really appreciate his first ability, having used it multiple times with Wall of Omens already. And there's a lot in here that can abuse this ability as well. Anyway, thanks for your comment!

Have a nice day!
