Hero's Downfall > MurderConfound is not amazing for you. Your deck doesn't have a ridiculous amount of dudes, I think Desertion or Counterspell would be better fits. You will often find yourself with very few reasons to play Confound over Counterspell.Damnation? Plague Winds? Decree of Pain? Cyclonic Rift?Silent Arbiter has a lot of power here.Mesmeric Orb and Kozilek go really well together here.Ravenous Trap, Tormod's Crypt, or Relic of Progenitus seem necessary. Most commander decks have Kozi or Ulamog.

Hi, i'm copying your EHD deck, can you explain how it plays?
considering you know how EDH games works:the commander is Phenax god of deception, the deck objective is to mill oponent's deck while defend your self with many barriers and counter spells, since on EDH games you have 40 life ( 2x normal) but oponent have only 99 card (1,65x normal) your chances are good that you will mill his deck before he can kill you, and after a while and with some barriers on the battlefield you can play phenax and each of turn all your barriers for a huge mill, when oponent dont have more cards on his library you win the game :)
nice, i would like to try this on my friend that destroyed and exiled creatures in one turn. I would like to repay him with this.
i tweaked a few cards that AlphaB mentioned and i also added Talrand, Sky Summoner to produce tokens with flaying since tokens can be handy.
