Pingers with Deathtouch? Deathtouchers that Ping? oh NO~!!! alright, i just had this idea while i was tinkering with other deck... well, ideas. i think it'd be funny as hell to play. yes, i know, most Red and Black spells will kill it, but it's not like i'm going to play in a tournament. =/ i would like thoughts on it, though. if anything should be changed tell me what should get replaced in return. =)

Hm I like it! I'd chuck out Whip of Erebos though, especially since you have 62 cards. Also, perhaps Gorgon's Head and Illusionist's Bracers are worth considering?

i added Whip of Erebos because Lifelink seemed to be a nice addition and covered better than Basilisk Collar.Gorgon's Head was in there originally. it got replaced by B Collar. same price and B Collar does more.ooh~ OOHH~!!! i didn't know about Illusionist's Bracers!!! O//o//O
Yeah, if you can get Basilisk Collar, you should. Here in Belgium it's much more expensive than Gorgon's Head though.Ah, Illusionist's Bracers, I love it so much :-) It has endless possibilities! In your deck it means double-kill :D
same here. nearly 10 USD. =/ (i already got 2, though. >=3 )
Yeah, costly little bastard :-) I'm intrigued as to how this deck'll run, by the way. Concepts like this are always fun :-)
it takes a while. it's main weakness is it takes til turn 3-4 to start rolling because of mana costs. once you get at least 2 creatures out you can start fucking dudes up. unless it's weenie aggro or non-creature you'll win after a long, slow battle. big tip: if you have any Pingers left at the end of an opponent's turn, ping them directly.
Yeah, true, that's a weakness. It also gives your opponent time to build a response, because around turn 3-4 he'll know what you're up to :-) The cool thing about these decks, though, is that at some point you reach a point of no return. There's only very few things that can be done against you. I have the same thing with my Boros control deck and my Zombie deck. At some point it just escalates and your opponent can only wait it out untill you attack with a massive force or just bleed him out :-)
plus there's sweeping damage spells (Red and Black) that'll fuck it really fast.
i noticed you've got a couple EDH decks made up and was wondering how good you are at it.honestly, i suck and EDH barely makes sense to me, but i thought this would be a fun deck idea and wanted your opinion on it. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/pinged-to-death-2/i need to take out 5 cards overall, but what dyou think otherwise?
I'm only "meh" at EDH :-) I only played it once a week ago, with a deck of a friend of mine which is never fun :-) So I coverted 2 decks (rebel deck and rakdos aggro deck) into EDH decks, and made another one around Daxos of Meletis. That last one is the best of the 3, with plenty of control and lifelink and stuff to hold out and deal some damage. I have playtested them a little bit and did some draw samples, but I can only test them against others this thursday. So I'm not going to give any feedback as of yet, fi you don't mind, since I don't know what I'm doing yet :D
okie-doke.if you need to playtest before buying you should check out tappedout.com. unless you're already on it. ^^; it's got a really good playtest formula. =)
Yeah I heard about it, I got a couple of friends who are on there. Any advantages/disadvantages over MTGVault?
prosDeckcycle. you can put 1 deck on the main page once a day. if you Upgrade your account you can do it 3 times a day. simple layout. great playtesting algorithm. gives you other tappedout members locations and MTG hotspots so you can hook up with other players. trades binder / wishlist where you can post what you have and what want/need. plus it gives you card percentages and other math stuff if you're into that. =Pcons: LOTS. OF. BUTTONS. you kinda have to experiment in regards of what goes where. text formatting is so simple you might forget how it works if you don't use it a lot. ^^; sometimes card previews don't want to work and you'll have to rely on memory or a new tab for the card's info. also, the playtest algorithm might fail to load your deck sometimes, but all you gotta do is refresh a couple times and it'll start working again.there's prolly other things, pro and con, that i don't know about just because i don't fiddle with too much on it.
I'm gonna check it out, my first impression is like you said, loads of freakin' buttons wtf :p But I àm into statistics a lot :D So that might win me over! Thanks for the hint!
glad to be of help. ^w^
Pinged to Death is revamped. runs a little smoother now. =)
