A low cost standard B/U aggro in which the goal is simple, make dudes and swing to force plays. You keep fueled up, as most cards replacing themselves one way or another, all the while disrupting your opponent's deck and hopefully making it harder for them to win.
Basic strategy is to cast what you've got, swing as often as you can, and keep back a few blockers. Blockers consist of Hangarback Walker and Fathom Feeder mainly, though some of your fliers can be used in this way as needed. Remember to activate the aforementioned card's abilities at the end of your oppenent's turn with any unused mana you happen to have.Key cards are:-Alter of the Brood punishes your opponent a great deal in this permanent heavy deck. Great to get one out on turn 1, more the merrier. -Sphinx's Tutelage is another 'more the merrier card' and can make an opponent reconsider their combat step entirely for fear of a heavy mill penalty.Cute Synergy:Alter of the Brood really gets mean in conjunction with token generation, as found on Thopter Spy Network and the ever growing threat that is Hangarback Walker.Cards that are still under consideration:I'm honestly not sure what to do with this, I'd like a bit of control but this deck doesn't lend itself to a very cautious play style. I attempted adding a couple counters in the form of Ulamog's Nullifier and Scatter to the Winds. I've found Ulamog's Nullifier to be unreliable at times and though Scatter to the Winds is reliable it's just that, a counter spell. Maybe all these multiple option instants and sorceries have spoiled me...The mana base is more arbitrary and less fine tuned so that's a thing as well.Thoughts? Suggestions? I've been out of standard for awhile, maybe there's something like this I can pull from? Maybe this deck has no place in the current meta due to X card/combo? Useful input and information is always appreciated.
