Needs some work, but a good deck to start out with. You need so more cards that either tutor or put cards into your graveyard. Grisly Salvage, Jarad's Orders, Rot Farm Skeleton, and then there is the original Golgari mechanic called dredge. Try adding another Deadbridge Chant. Just look at some more Golgari cards so that you can improve your deck. Go the Wizards Advanced Search Gatherer go to mark type in Golgari click add then search and it will bring up all of the guild cards old and new. Also, if you plan on doing any modern tournaments the you will have to take out Deathrite Shamam. You could replace him with another Golgari card or look outside the block to another and see if there are other good green black cards. One I am thinking of in particular is a token cards that buffs all green cards and gives them a +1 +1 and same with the black cards. If it is both the it gives it a +2 +2. It's called Creakwood Liege. Try looking at my Golgari deck and get some ideas. It's called Golgari's Reasoning. I like Golgari decks since it was my first ever deck I made in magic so I hope this helps. :)

I tend to prefer new cards over old. I play almost exclusivly casual, so Deathrite Shaman sould not be a problem. Creakwood Leige is going into the deck immediatly. I like that card. My first deck ever was a B/W Orzhov deck, 100 cards. I changed to Dimir recently as my favorite.http://www.forbes.com/sites/danieltack/2012/09/27/return-to-ravnica-evaluating-golgari/http://www.forbes.com/sites/danieltack/2013/04/26/dragons-maze-evaluating-golgari/
You need to work out which ability you want to utilize. You can't very well have Varolz exile creatures while Jarad needs them in the graveyard. Also I suggest putting in Lotleth Troll.
