Good catch! This username (which I use in a lot of places) was originally an allusion to the Time Cube. I had recently read a lot of it (for entertainment, of course) and thought I'd pay an homage of sorts.I wouldn't call myself a fan of Ray per se, but I am quite fascinated and entertained by his particular brand of esotericism. Though the avoidance of the number 1 is purely coincidence; I feel if a card is good enough to put in a deck, I'd want to draw it regularly. Exceptions made of course for tutor decks, budget, and other such reasons.
I certainly saw this reply, I just see a large difference between saying that you've read the ravings of a madman and studying human behavior in a scholarly/academic fashion. Name-dropping Gene Ray doesn't prove to me that you're a sociologist or psychologist by any means. But I'd be more than happy to go through each of those and give you my opinions, while I've got the time. At the very least it'll be entertaining to read your personal interpretations and see how they differ from actual sociological findings.
gene ray's an x man right
....guess not
