Deck Description

The idea behind this deck is not necessarily for you to win. But for you to choose the winner. This is primarily a multiplayer only deck. In free-for-all it is designed to allow you to choose the winner, ramp up the game for all the players or make yourself useful to whoever is doing the best right up until the end and then twist around and Snake Basket/Devil's Play yourself into victory. In 2v2 or 3v3 it is designed to boost your allies.

Tribute to my sister. Who inspired the idea by demanding I give her all my cards every time I started winning.

How to Play

Ideally you would start the game with a Bazaar Trader, two Prototype Portals and one of your ramp cards. Ramp yourself up a little early game and use the Prototype Portal imprinted with another Prototype Portal to spam more Prototype Portals imprinted with your ramp artifacts so you have a ridiculous amount of artifact ramp tokens.
Mid game start using the bazaar trader to give ramp artifacts to your opponents or allies.
Late game, you can either start giving your opponents Bronze Bombshell tokens equipped with the Skullclamp to deal damage and draw cards or you can play a gruul charm, get all the artifact tokens you've been giving away back and then drop a Snake Basket or Devil's Play charged to an unbelievable number and crush your opponent.

Deck discussion for Trader or Traitor?

I've honestly have to say that I don't get this deck at all. Please understand I'm not trying to insult you. Even if I buy into the premise of playing a game of magic to purposely allow you to pick who wins, I don't see how this deck does that. Your creatures and artifacts in the deck are not going to win any players games. I'll give the like because thats what I do for multiplayer decks, but this one is way off the mark.

The idea is not to make my opponents and/or allies powerful with my cards. It's to give them the time and ramp they need to use their own cards really fast. A heavy deck that starts out really slow would be insane if I was feeding it mana ramp, card draw, creature boosts and useless blockers the entire game.
Most of the games I play are free-for-all or 2v2. This deck would complement a number of the 2v2 decks I've played with and would make for an amusing free-for-all. I thought the idea would be fun to try. I don't have the cards yet, but they aren't very expensive.
I did adjusted the mana ramp so it's a little more fluid early game.

I got you ;) but why not do all of that AND still give your self some way to win? I do like this idea of helping one opponent, but why not have an ace in the hole that allows you to at least make a stab at killing that one guy you picked to win? Also, some type of defense against the others you didn't pick coming after you because they know your plan? A tough task, but something I think can be done for sure! I'll think on it

You made a good point. I do think I should find myself an "Ace in the Hole" for a last minute betrayal, (for free-for-all games at least).
As for protecting myself from the other players. I don't "have" to give anything away. I can keep the Hunted creatures and suffice with giving the person I want to win the tokens. The auras can be put on anything and regardless of what I put Ordeal of Heliod on I gain 10 life. I may need a little more protection, but I wouldn't say I'm completely helpless.

You welcome glad to help! I came across a really cool card that I think would fit in this deck. Prototype portal. You could add a few more artifacts that give you a win condition. Like maybe something that gave you a bunch of creature tokens. Or a Jinxed Idol (Witchbane) combo. You make a bunch of jinxed Idols and give them to an opponent who can't target you because of Witchbane. Also a Bronze Bombshell. Make copies and give them to your opponent! You also could make a bunch of copies of the artifacts you already have. There is so many directions you could go with prototype portal.

That Prototype Portal is neat, I added three plus three Bronze Bombshells. I think that's a decent "Ace in the Hole".
I also put in some Swiftfoot Boots to protect my Trader once the Bombshells starts blowing up in their face.
Any other recommendations are welcome.
