Deck Description

The Goal:

A control deck

The Means:

Isochronceptor + Silence

The Fix:

Braids, Hussar, fabricate, and ponder

How to Play

This deck is so simple its stupid. Get three mana, cast the ischronceptor silence combo. After that, you just keep two mana open the and cast silence at the beginning of there up keep. If you really want to be rude, find some cards to tap out there mana pool.

After that they scoop. It really doesn't matter what it is, mana leak, silence, or helix. Well, usually they'll keep playing with helix for a little bit, or keep playing with mana leak, but then they get exasperated.

If I am color screwed, I COULD search for chromatic lantern. Or if I am running a deck that is capable of getting around this, (there are several) I can search for it. Evolving wilds like mad, and keep from running the expensive lands, since blue and white are all that are really needed.

In Multiplayer, it isn't broken at all. IT really just makes you a huge target. Then it becomes a really big challenge play. Usually when this happens I just save my spells for a massive end game.

Then there is braids.
People are probably wondering why I would run that! It gets passed your combo dude! It lets them play there combo without paying!

You are right! SO I drop braids in the match. They play there best or biggest for free, and then I angel of serenity it away. It entices them to use it, and is just a bait card for them. On player drops a card, another drops a card and so on and so fourth until its your turn, then you drop serenity, take out the top two and your own braids. Why not right?

The sideboard works with braids bait a bit more for those who play a bunch of multiplayer.

Deck discussion for then they scooped...

good luck with your deck checks with a banned card in a modern build....

trade Ponder for Index....shouldnt affect the deck too much, and it makes it Modern legal.

This is my casual deck; along with Meet your machine overlords. So I am not worried about format, but great suggestion!

Their, there, they're. Passed, past. It's, its. Learn 'em. You might want to read your "How to Play" out loud so you see how it sounds, too.
