Deck Description

I found a deck that ran something similar to this but it wasn't consistent, so I've been modifying it and this is the end result.

Win conditions are as follows:
1. Use your big hitters to beat peeps down.
2. Use the cauldrons and trading posts to gain life to activate Angelic Accord.

Pretty fun deck, these are all cards i own so there might be better cards to substitute in. Any ideas to make this run better leave a comment. Likes are aways appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Deck discussion for Post Reanimator Std

Looks like it would be fun to play. Not really sold on you running the deathpact angel the card seems clunky. Also side board idea for ya maybe a few pithing needles.

Maybe more whip of erebos for more lifelink

the ashen riders are a little too expensive for them to be of any use in the deck. i would suggest putting in something like archangel of thune, as it gives you life from lifelink, but pumps creatures when you do gain life. another good replacement would be banisher priest, which effectively does what ashen rifer does without the high mana cost with the downside of being a bigger target. better yet, get rid of rifer, get two of both, and drop a prism.

The ashen rider is better than you might think. Discard it with post, gain 4 life and an angel token, then bring it back with the whip.

I like the idea, though I donno' how this would play out... ...I'm certain, that the combo you have here has some conditions & you don't have enough removal(Verdict alone won't be enough, it won't kill off everything at certain situations)...

In aq deck like this, you'd need way more ramp & way more drawpower... ...this really is instabil, but like I already said, I like the basic idea... ...you need drawpower to increase the possibility for drawing Whip & Post along with the biggies... ...you need ramp, 'cuz you might won't have the combo, 'cuz your opponent could destroy the post for example... ...against the Whipe, opponents will just sideboard Fade into Antiquity.......

May be, we can forget about ramp & rather use insane amount of draw... ...I mean like 4 Revelation, 4 Read the Bones, 3 Quicken(nice with Verdict), 2 Divination...

The best ramp for this deck would be Chromatic Lantern & may be some keyrunes...

Good luck!

Although its nice getting obdezat in a whip exile loop, i think that this shell below has a better control scheme,

http://www.mtgvault.com/bsaf/decks/theros-junk-reanimator/

For reanimator, the whip is secondary to what you want but nice to drop and forget as a secondary reanimator. Obdezats aid is the most powerful reanimator, letting you pull elspeth or ashen rider or armada worm straight back to the battlefield. Rescue from the underworld is technically the more interesting reanimator card, letting you bring back things at instant speed. Lotleth troll lets you discard fatties at will and return to the battlefield, abrupt decay and downfalls for control. But yeah reanimator still looks playable
