Deck discussion for Faerie Mill

theres that new mill creature, nemesis of reason, in the alara reborn set. i have a bunch of great mill cards in my mill deck, you should take a look at that for some ideas

Nice deck!

I would go for 4 each of Forced Fruition and Traumatize. At least 4 Forced Fruition. This is a real deck killer.

Evacuations are nice too with Forced Fruition, but then it kills your tokens so maybe not.

i'm not sure if i agree with davesters81, 4 forced fruitation AND 4 traumatize seems like super over kill.
you really only need like 2 of each. because traumatize is really only good the first time, especially turn 5 when you mill your opponent for like 25, the effect just isn't as good a second time for 5 mana and only milling 12 when you could glimpse for 10 for 2 mana. and if your ran 4 forced fruitation and 4 traumatize you would only be overcosting your deck.

agree with trunzo,
only have up to 2 Forced Fruition and 2 Tramatize. and if you did throw in Evacuation, make sure you would have 2 or moreWarped Devotion out.
so with the combo of this deck, 2 Forced Fruition is all Id suggest.

There's an amazing mill card coming out in "Alara Reborn" I can't recall the name, but it's Black-Blue and everytime it attacks, your opponent discards the top 10 cards of their Library. Just a thought.
Ass for an artifact, you could always try Millstone, but you've got better cards in your deck to begin with.

I like the dual strategies for winning, both faeries and milling.

You might have trouble getting started as it seems your one and two drops will help mill your opponent but don't offer much in the short term (although I like diabolic edict, it might not be enough). You might want to flatten your mana curve a little bit.

Please comment on my Economy Bant deck.

I really love this deck, I think it's perfect. Many milling decks lack the ability to stay alive early in the game. This deck would have no problem due to the faeries.

It's type 2 legal, am I right? If it wasn't I think that Circu would make a great addition to an already powerful mill.

Oh plus, I didn't notice the first time that I looked, but I love the combination of your Tolaria West and Couldpost land cards. It's a GREAT way of using Oona's ability.

I think that's about it, I realy don't know of any way to improve this deck, unless you wanted to make it a Legacy one. :P

Great job!

Very nice mill deck, your deck made me want to give milling a try to be honest. I agree with Nathaniell with the Tolaria West and Cloudpost combo. 4 Cloudpost means 4 more cards discarded and 4 more tokens.

Mind Funeral is a great newer card for massive discarding. Throw in a Megrim to make it super fast player killer, and maybe a spellbook and a few dream salvages you give you some killer big hands.

You have to get rid of glimpse and rewind to make this a type 2 deck, as well as get rid of a couple lands. I would play spell stutter sprite instead of cancel to get some more faeries in here. Maybe add that 1 mana faerie that is a 2/1 defender. Faerie concaves would also help get you some faeries for the sprites. The faerie harbinger sucks pretty hard, I would loose it. Definitely 2 more scion of oona's and any of the rare cliques are good (vendillion and mistbind). Jace seems like a natural addition to this deck, not sure why hes not in here. I would add a couple terror's too for some targeted removal. you also need more than 20 lands. Who ever suggested that 20/60 or 1/3 was a good ratio is flat wrong. especially in a control deck like this you need like 25 lands. 40% of the deck is pretty good (even though there is no nice ratio for that.) If you aren't going type 2, there are so many other cards that would make this deck good that I won't go into them. Other than that, interesting concept, but it still needs to be worked out quite a bit. This deck won't even come close to beating a half decent deck right now.
