Just a brew me and a few friends started thinking about at my LGS. The green splash helps 2 of the biggest weaknesses of Tokens which is its inability to fight Goyf/Tasigur/Rhino and its weakness Twin. On top of that it gives you a great advantage in the mirror. The addition of our own Rhinos gives us a solid non-token threat which makes boarding in and out removal spells awkward and something that stands in front of opposing fatties pretty well (especially with an Honor of the Pure or Sorin trigger) they can often beat up the other fatties . The other thing the splash allows is Abrupt Decay. We all know how incredibly powerful this card is, access to it makes holding Twin back much easier as it is a removal spell that can not be countered allowing for at least a good answer in game one to an attempted combo after that we sideboard in all our hate and have the Decays while the matchup doesn't exactly shift in our favor it certainly makes it a much more even match. Abrupt Decay being such a versatile spell also has allowed one more of the most annoying matchups with this deck to swing severely in our favor.... the mirror. Abrupt Decay's ability to hit both anthems and opposing Liliana's make it an invaluable tool in the mirror as it gives you answers to things that most decks don't have at the very least until post board games.
